Ms Callie Ward was our illustrator
Our recent Character Design Workshop was a hit, thanks to the exceptional guidance of Ms. Callie Ward, the Political Economic Officer from the U.S. Embassy, who graced the event as our Guest of Honor and our workshop illustrator.
Ms. Ward mesmerized the students by creating various imaginative characters during the workshop. Using simple yet effective shapes like triangles, squares, circles, and playful scribbles, she demonstrated how the foundation of any book character starts with basic design principles. The students were thrilled to learn from Ms. Ward, engaging eagerly in discussions and activities. The admiration was mutual—Ms. Ward expressed how much she enjoyed interacting with such enthusiastic and talented students.

Testimonials
My favorite moment of the event was definitely seeing the students' enthusiasm and excitement to draw. And seeing their creativity expressed in a blank A4 paper!
