Storytelling Adventure! is an experience for children to learn the art of telling stories through technological, social, or collaborative interactive features. Every child is a dreamer; we believe in exploring their dreams and imagination of children.

The walls of the Honey Bookstore have been filled with laughter and the exciting imagination of children who have joined our interactive storytelling. Using a projector featuring handpicked books that encouraged children to interact with the storyteller created an imagination-filled, interactive storytime for everyone. And make a storytime magical.

FAQ

1. How much is it for the price?

For 1 hr 30 minutes, it will be $15 per child. This is inclusive with storyteller, activities and the projector screen.

2. What is the age range to participate?

Between ages 0 to 12 years old.

3. How long will the duration be for the storytelling?

It will be 1 hr 30 minutes which consists of storytelling and an interactive activity.

4. What kind of activities will be provided during the session?

The activities will be depending on the child's interest and their interactions with us. We would either build a fort, do painting or make their own stories with us. We believe in having a child-led activity in order to expand their creativity.

5. Can I drop off my children during the storytelling?

Yes, you may! We would highly encourage that in order for us to mingle more with your children.

6. Can adults/helpers join for the storytelling?

Yes, you may! The price per adult would be $5 only.

7. Can I bring snacks for my children?

You are welcome to let them bring their own snacks and drinks. However, please ensure your child had a hearty meal prior to the storytelling session.

8. How do I make an appointment?

Simply fill up the form below and attach your bank-in screenshot when you submit the form.

9. What is your method of payment?

We would highly encourage bank transfers via BIBD/Baiduri. However, should you wish to make a cash payment, please notify us of the date and time for you to make your payment to The Honey Bookstore.

Payment at the door before your booking is highly discouraged as we would like to avoid ghosts and joy bookers.

10. Am I allowed to cancel and request for a refund?

All payments are non-refundable nor transferrable to any other services. However, should you wish to reschedule, please notify us 2 - 3 days prior to your booking or else, your booking will be forfeited and there will be no refunds.

11. Will there be time adjustments if my guests or myself would come a little later than the designated time?

If you cannot make it in time for the first session, you may re-schedule it to the second session. However, there will be no rescheduling or refunds if you are to miss the second session.

About our storyteller

Sallyhani is the founder and owner of the Honey Bookstore. She has done storytelling with the children who have entered the bookstore to the children in the water village for her volunteering work. She has been passionate and loved to be around children especially listening to their whimsical stories.

She hopes to one day achieve her dream; where the children she had worked with would talk about their favorite bookstore, as Sally would often talk about the old infamous bookstore "Paul and Elizabeth" till now
