How much will I be charged in total?
Your total price is made up of the actual cost of the book (including the shipping fee from KL to Limbang), our fixed regional transport fee, and an optional local delivery fee if you don't wish to pick it up yourself. There are zero hidden taxes or customs markups!
Do you provide home delivery within Brunei?
Yes! While our standard service is for self-collection at our bookstore located in Jalan Kiarong, Kpg Kiulap, you can choose to have your books delivered directly to your doorstep for an additional $4.00 BND shipping fee. You can select your preferred option when confirming your order.
Do you accept deposits or cash on delivery (COD)?
No, we require a strict 100% full payment upfront via bank transfer (BIBD or Baiduri) before we can secure your books. Orders will not be added to our purchasing batch until payment is verified on our website.
Can I get a delivery discount if I buy multiple books?
The $5.00 BND logistics fee applies to every single book individually. Because each book occupies specific weight and volume allowance with our overland border runner, we cannot bundle or discount logistics fees.
How do I get my books once they arrive in Brunei?
We offer two convenient options when you confirm your order:
Free Self-Pickup: Collect your books directly from our physical bookstore storefront located in Jalan Kiarong, Kpg Kiulap.
Direct Home Delivery: Have your books sent straight to your doorstep anywhere in Brunei for an additional flat fee of +$4.00 BND per order.
How long will my books take to arrive?
Because we order in batches and utilize overland border runners, books typically take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive at our bookstore after the batch closure date. We will notify you via email or phone as soon as your order arrives and is ready for pickup or delivery.
What happens if my book gets damaged during transit?
While we do our absolute best to handle all orders with care, please note that The Honey & Chapters is not responsible or liable for any damages that occur to books during transit or customs handling. By submitting your pre-order, you accept the risk of minor or major cosmetic defects (such as dented corners, creased pages, or spine damage) that may happen during overland transit. All sales are final, and we cannot offer refunds or replacements for damaged items.
Can I cancel my order or get a refund after paying?
Once an order batch has been submitted to our supplier, we cannot accept cancellations or issue refunds for change-of-mind. Refunds are only issued if a book goes completely out of stock at the supplier and cannot be fulfilled. Because we are not responsible for transit conditions, we do not issue refunds for books that arrive damaged.
Can I just give you the title of a book instead of a link?
To ensure we source the exact version you want (and don't accidentally order a paperback instead of a hardcover, or the wrong language translation), you must provide the official web URL link from my.kinokuniya.com in your request form.
